After your application

What happens after you have sent in your application?

If the application is not complete

It will be returned to the applicant for completion.

If your application is complete

You will receive an acknowledgement quoting a file reference number.

Completed applications are subjected to detailed examination and the Fund's Social Department will carry out an investigation. This department will contact the applicant to make an appointment for an interview at which his or her situation can be discussed.

Applications receive priority classifications in a descending order on the basis of the following criteria :

  • households forced to leave their present accommodation because it is unsanitary, or is being publicly expropriated or because an eviction order has been issued against them despite the fact that they have acted in good faith. .
  • households currently occupying accommodation without a shower, bathroom or WC, differentiating between those households with no access whatsoever to sanitary facilities of this kind and those with access to shared facilities.
  • households currently occupying accommodation unsuited to their family situation, specifically those with less than the following minimum:
    1 bedroom per person aged 12 years or more or per couple, 1 bedroom per every 2 children aged less than 12 years.
